Very nice June 26, 2009 After you get it properly set up (with a pop filter, for instance), this microphone is extremely high quality for an extremely good price.
Great Microphone ! June 17, 2009 This microphone is great and easy to use. Just plug in your computer and the windows automatic detect the microphone. The sound is clear and I love it.
Best VoiceOver - AT2020 USB Microphone June 9, 2009 This is by far the best voice-over microphone for home office use you'll find unless you want to get into the $400 or $500 range. USB connection is the only way to go today, and I just plugged it in and started working.
Also works very well with Dragon Naturally Speaking. Just slightly lower score with Dragon than my headset, but I don't have to get all "suited up" with wires and headphone just to dictate a memo anymore.
The only thing I would suggest is a slightly higher stand. I will probably be looking for a microphone boom arm very soon.
Great Mic for Podcasts June 7, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this mic to use for recording online demos of our AppLogic system and it's great. The sound quality is superb, it's easy to use, and it's affordable for most business usage. You'll probably want a shock-mount and wind-screen, though, as this unit is really sensitive. I've also put mine on a boom to get it off the desk to prevent it picking up too much noise from the keyboard.
Fantastic for video voiceovers June 4, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this mic to do voiceovers for video tutorials. I can't imagine the voice quality being much better. It sounds like you're on NPR or something, rather than talking into a PC microphone. No fiddling required, just plug in the mic and fire up Audacity.
Can't recommend this mic highly enough for voice capture. Can't speak for musical instruments or recording live events, but in a reasonably controlled environment it does great things with voice.
