A good cd for any violinist or fiddler who wants to learn Jay&Molly's waltzes. As reviewer M Hansen indicated, you can get this one much cheaper as an out-of-print copy from Amazon sellers for a fraction of the new price!!!

This is the perfect 'cabin in winter with your honey' music, although I'll give it a shake in the summer too probably. Beautiful arrangements, relaxed rhythms, interesting variety of tunes (not all waltzes) make this a very lovely addition to anyone's collection. Need more glow? How's this then; it's all very partner danceable!

Generally if you buy a CD that you are unfamiliar with, it takes several playings before you can either really start to appreciate it, or decide it wasn't worth it. Not this CD. What a great mix of traditional folk music! This CD has immediately vaulted to the top of my list. It has violins, violas, mandolins, guitars, bass, pedal steel guitar and drums. And the artists really are artists at what they do. Selections vary in style from "haunting" to "toe-tapping." If you like this kind of music -- get this CD!

Nice mix of music. Note that this is the same as the collection previously released as 'Brother's Keeper', the original music composed for the soundtrack of the film of that name.
