Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com
Jack Logan's first new album in half a decade is the product of a free-ranging aggregation called the Monday Night Recorders. Meeting on Monday nights at various homes in Athens, Georgia, those who stopped by included members of Dashboard Saviors, Drive-By Truckers, and Barbara Cue. They'd aim for three songs a night, and adding to the immediacy of it all, the songs would be mixed and then the original tracks erased. Over the course of 2003 this system led to the creation of 94 songs. These fifteen, fronted by Logan, inhabit the breadth he's been exhibiting since his sprawling Bulk appeared ten years ago. From thorny rockers to pop gems, light psychedelia, and country rock, those Monday nights made for one fine club! -- David Greenberger
