good price for good oil June 26, 2009
This is a good oil for basic Italian cooking. There are other oils out there at far higher prices, that will give you very different flavors and nuances, but I always like to have a basic oil that I like well enough to use in cooking or on salads, and maybe have a more "gourmet" EVOO for really special stuff. Good, solid oil, good price.

I have been using Zoe for about 3 years and think it's the best olive oil for the price. I've tried many expensive Italian and Greek oils but I still keep coming back to this Spanish oil.

I like this olive oil for a couple of reasons. It's the best I've found in the price range I'm willing to pay.
It comes in a tin, which I think protects the flavor of the oil longer.
I will not buy oil in a plastic bottle!
When I buy I always buy a pack for my friend, who is a chef. She swears by it.

Price is better than supermarket specials for a very decent olive oil. Good flavor and color and good for all-around usage. I use tremendous amounts of olive oil and have not found a better cost/quantity/quality balance.
