This is my first exposure to Paul Taylor and my first impressions were not good. At first I found this production too "run of the mill" but after subsequent listening I found myself enjoying this CD more and more. The musical arrangements for the most part are very pleasing. The mix of the music and the record quality is also very satisfying.

This entire CD is just awesome. I really don't have a favorite because each track is just wonderful easy listening music. All though I choose this CD to be one of the best for every track being a hit, "Dry Your Eyes" is still my favorite. OKC awaits you Paul Taylor...
Another winner July 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Paul Taylor has a real winner with this CD. The only song on this CD that doesn't do much for me is "Long Distance Relationship"; every other song is excellent.
The CD's title would probably lead one to believe this CD is full of ballads, which he always does quite well with. While that is true, with nice ones like "I Want To Be Loved (By You)", on which Latoya London shines, and the very beautiful "Summer's End", he also picks up the pace nicely with songs like the bookends of the CD - the title track and the closing song, "Point of View".
While he's put out good CDs over the years, this might be his best effort. It's a very worthy buy.
Disappointed Fan June 25, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Approximately two years ago I was online searching for smooth jazz and Paul Taylor's music caught my instrumental ear. I snapped up two of his CD's right away and subsequently purchased three more after that. I keep an eye out new music and was pleased to see last year that he had another CD released. I was very disappointed when I listened to the short tracks online. I am a firm instrumental jazz fan so this CD will not be added to my collection simply because of all the vocals...........too many. One or two, I can deal with, but not all the ones on this release. I will wait in anticipation for his next release and hope that he does what he does best.....play the horn.
That's Paul Taylor, Ladies' Choice!!! May 6, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My first Paul Taylor CD was On The Horn from the 90's. I loved it. Once I had a few friends over to the house. We sat on the deck in the "cool of the evening" sipping wine & drinking Michelob's while I played Paul Taylor's On the Horn in the background. Before everyone departed they all wanted to know what CD I was playing. By the end of the next week all 3 couples had purchase there own copy of On The Horn. I love it when I turn someone on to good music... Fast forward about 10 years, Paul is still making good music. Ladies' Choice is another stellar project from this talented musician. I haven't hit the skip button once while listening to this CD. Currently I'm diggin' the title cut, & feeling Long Distance Relationship which features Terry Dexter on vocals. Now, I'm sitting on my deck with a few million Amazon friends with a glass of port and a good stogie. "What CD is that?" you asked. "It's Ladies' Choice by Paul Taylor."
