Album Description Melding the contemporary and the classic in ways only he can, Michael Buble has created his most complete studio effort yet. Ranging from "I've Got The World On a String" to "Me and Mrs. Jones," in addition to two new songs co-written by Michael, Call Me Irresponsible makes this album irresistible.
Amazon.com It's no coincidence that Michael Buble's new album starts with just his voice and some fingersnaps on "The Best Is Yet to Come," a song made famous by Frank Sinatra. The Canadian smoothie looks longingly towards early-'60s Vegas, an impression quickly reinforced when a boisterous horn section makes its grand entrance, about 20 seconds into the track. That Buble means business is confirmed by the second cut, a fast-paced take on Henry Mancini's "It Had Better Be Tonight," and of course by the CD's very title, another song identified with Sinatra as his cockiest. There are just a few sidesteps from the retro formula that's served Buble so well so far: a languid duet with Brazilian star Ivan Lins on the bossa "Wonderful Tonight," a gospel choir on "That's Life." Interestingly, Buble co-wrote the best of those sidesteps, "Everything," a Norah Jones-esque number that alluringly harks back to sunny '70s pop. It's also the only song on the album produced by Bob Rock (best known for his work with Metallica), sending out a strong signal that Buble should reach out to unlikely collaborators more often. --Elisabeth Vincentelli More Music from Michael Buble It's Time | Michael Buble | Caught in the Act |

Michael Buble March 30, 2009 I loved Michael Buble's interview on Glen Beck and have been a fan of him ever since.
Soothing and Relaxing Music for the Stressed out March 2, 2009 This is my first Michael Buble CD and I liked it. His great voice and singing style is good for my stressy days and tired evenings. For me, as long as the songs are enjoyable and the singer sound great to me, all is OK for me.
A new fan! February 22, 2009 This is my first of Buble's albums and I am SO happy I bought it. He is so fun to listen to...great "ring" to his voice, full and resonant. I loved his jazzy, sexy interp. I'm a total fan!
This man can SING anything. Just listen! February 13, 2009 I read the negative reviews and although I agree with some of the nitpicky points, the fact of the matter is, Buble can take any song, make it his own and you have to listen. I think the only song I skip is Me and Mrs. Jones just because it is about adultery, not because he can't sing it. The tone of the album is definitely darker, a downer and deep blue, but when you have a singer like Buble, exploration, variety and new paths are a must. He can not be relegated to just a Frank Sinatra or Nate King Cole impersonator. I love the variety, I love the different treatments, arrangements, the variety of songs, tempos and beats. Keep it coming Michael!
Buble's Best February 9, 2009 I have all of his cd's and by far this is the best. It has a vast array of music types and the jazzy style he throws into the mix is impeccable. Don't hesitate buying this, you won't be disappointed!
