2 out of 5 stars I only care for two songs on the CD but its worth it...   February 23, 2009
I've always love Funkin' For Jamaica as one of my favorite dance songs. However, this and Fungi Mamma are the only reasons for this CD but they are great dance anthems.

4 out of 5 stars Great memories   April 28, 2008
Great memories of Tom Browne's Funkin' for Jamaica and Thighs High (grip yo' hips and move). Just recently purchase this cd and it's as hot as I remember, plus many more nice songs. I would recommend this cd for any jazz-funk fan. Excellent choice to add to collection.

5 out of 5 stars Can Anyone Name The Man On The Cover?   April 15, 2008

OK,he looks awfully familiar(kinda resembling Steve Arrington from legendary rock/funk outfit SLAVE),but that is not fusion great,Mr.Tom Browne,as you can see on the same page where it's listed,OK?! It's really bizarre how artists of yesteryear get botched-up,be it names, pictures and what not, kinda funny,in a strange & weird way? Yet that has to be bloody irritating to the artist themselves,ARGH/URGH?!

Happy hunting,people?!

5 out of 5 stars Difinitive Tom Browne   February 13, 2008
If you like the man and his music, this has all the hits. The first two tracks alone are worth the price of the CD. I'd been looking for 'Thighs High' for awhile now. Get it while you can!

5 out of 5 stars Nice cover - but who is he?   September 8, 2007

Love Tom Browne. Always was a big fan from his early work with Grusin Rosen Productions to his more soulful fusion and even the electro blowing of 'Rockin' Radio'. This comp' covers most of his good work, I only have one question. Who's the geezer on the front cover? Certainly isn't Tom Browne!
